“What smells like doughnuts?” asked Thom Yorke while on stage. Someone in the crowd shouted, “America smells like doughnuts!” And so began the Radiohead show.
Here is the unofficial setlist:
- All I Need
- Jigsaw Falling Into Place
- Airbag
- 15 Step
- Nude
- Kid A
- Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
- The Gloaming
- You and Whose Army?
- Idioteque
- Faust Arp
- Videotape
- Everything in Its Right Place
- Reckoner
- Optimistic
- Bangers & Mash
- Bodysnatchers
Encore 1:
- Exit Music (For a Film)
- Myxomatosis
- My Iron Lung
- There There
- Fake Plastic Trees
Encore 2:
- Pyramid Song
- House of Cards
- Paranoid Android
What surprised me was how many old songs they played (pleasantly surprised of course…). The only thing about the show that I didn’t like was the fact that Radiohead requested that the screens on the lawn be shut off for the show. Granted, it made everyone pay more attention to what was going on, but it left those of us in the lawn without a clue as to what was really going on on stage. I was also absolutely shocked that Pyramid Song was played, let alone in the encore. I think it’s one of their most beautiful songs and it definitely made this set list a little more special. If you want to hear the full analysis of the show, please listen to the podcast included in this blog at the top!
